Add Your New Bling to Your MA Homeowner’s Policy

Was Santa good to you this holiday season? If you receive a new piece of jewelry as a gift, you want to consider adding it to your Massachusetts homeowner’s policy.  Jewelry is generally covered up to a limited amount on your standard policy. But scheduling that piece of jewelry will give you the coverage you need as well as expanding the perils in which you are covered against. What does this mean? If your $500 gold bracelet gets stolen, you would most likely be covered without adding it to your policy. If your $15,000 diamond bracelet mysteriously disappears, you are out of luck….UNLESS you schedule it on your policy.  Scheduling personal property is also important for art, antiques and guns. Give Webber & Grinnell Insurance a call to schedule your high value belongings on your home policy.
